Shree Air’s plane brushes against another at Kathmandu airport, minor damage reported

Aircraft of two domestic airline companies have brushed each other in the domestic parking bay at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. A Shree Airlines aircraft brushed against a Yeti Airlines aircraft on Friday while it was being parked.

According to General Manager of Shree Airlines, Anil Manandhar, the aircraft brushed each other when the Shree Airlines aircraft was being parked. The Shree aeroplane had come to Kathmandu from Biratnagar.

“No substantial damage has occurred. Things are under control,” Manandhar said.

Officials from the two airlines and Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal are assessing the aircraft.
